FATAL3 is sitting on the top of a building with her x-ray specs trained on an armored truck parked at the bank across the street. He fiddles with a pendant, it looks almost like a washer but it's actually a calling coin, specifically Jack's- one of the few things that remained intact on his person. She always takes it on missions.
He pauses for a second because he can tell someone is trying to telepathically call him. She is used to this power of hers, but doesn't know who this is calling her, or how they will make their message known. He stands and looks around when suddenly dive bombing from above, a falcon swoops and lands on his shoulder. She doesn't wince from the sharp talons, her leather jacket's concealed armor takes all the damage.
"Hey beautiful, whatcha got for me?" He turns and notices a note tied to its leg. She crouches and lets the falcon hop off her shoulder and he carefully unties the message. It reads,
"He doesn't have to be dead. His story doesn't have to end. I can show you another way."
It is signed simply, "Garret"
